    James Joyce and Music

    Research

    Objective:

    Students will research and report on Joyce's relationship with music.

    Structure:

    Had he not become a writer, it's likely that James Joyce could have found a successful career as a musician: by all accounts, he had a lovely tenor singing voice, was a skilled and accomplished piano, and possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of music, styles, and genres.
