Lines 781-943

The Chorus considers the power of love and emotions, and how moved they are upon seeing Antigone go towards her death. Antigone talks to the Chorus, remembering other miserable deaths that have taken place in history and mythology. She asks for sympathy from the Chorus; the Chorus claims that she may be suffering for the deeds of her father, Oedipus.
