Objective:

To learn to write in a new form while summarizing the events of I[Antigone]

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.9-10.2

Structure:

Students will review the primary events of Antigone. In discussion, they should come to understand that they have seen what goes on behind the scenes, without knowing what these events were like for Theban commoners observing them. What might these events have looked like to those citizens? How would they perceive Creon's choices, Antigone's decision, Teiresias's prophecy?
