Spirit of a Blue Devil Anonymous

Throughout my entire life, I've seen myself as the quintessential Cameron Crazy. Covered in war paint from head to toe, my vehement anti-Tar Heel screams bellowing across the court. As a child, the depth of my interest stalled here - a young basketball fan enthralled by limitless Blue Devil spirit.

As my interest grew, though, I came to realize what Duke University truly has to offer. The gold standard of research for prospective healthcare professionals. An unrivaled learning environment, headed by world-renowned professors that are passionate in their fields. The hands-on nature of Duke education is epitomized by the Duke Marine Lab. I can be liberated from the confines of the classroom setting and given the opportunity to explore the oceanic realms of biological sciences. My attraction to Duke stems directly from examples such as this - an atmosphere which allows me to get out of my seat and make a difference.
