Students will use textual analysis and evidence to provide a deep character analysis of Michelle Obama, represented in the form of a collage.

Structure:

Begin this activity by having students individually brainstorm Michelle Obama's character traits, emotions, influences, and thoughts, writing them out. During this brainstorming, students should try to pull as many direct quotes from the text as possible to support what they are including.
