Objective:
Students will watch a documentary about the US government’s response to 9/11, and discuss how this applies to Blindness.

Structure:
In today’s reading, we see just how limited the government’s response to the blindness epidemic is: the shortcomings of the quarantine plan are apparent when the first group of inmates arrive, and is exacerbated to its breaking point by the time the hospital reaches capacity.
