Objective:

Students will write a series of diary entries from the perspective of an inmate in the hospital.

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.11-12.2

Structure:

For this activity, students will write a series of three diary entries from the perspective of an imagined inmate at the asylum, responding to the events that took place during today's reading. Each entry should be about 500 words and relate to the events that occurred throughout parts 9 through 11.
