Students will be able to research and write about storytelling traditions across cultures.

Structure:

Prior to the activity, have students read the following article from Bright Hub Education (http://www.brighthubeducation.com/social-studies-help/97047-importance-of-native-american-storytelling/) and PBS (http://www.pbs.org/circleofstories/voices/index.html) about American Indian storytelling.

Begin the lesson by asking students to briefly summarize what they read in the articles....
