Frances
Frances is a twenty-one-year-old college student. She is also an aspiring writer and feminist, performing poetry alongside her friend Bobbi.
Bobbi
Bobbi has been Frances' friend since school and they continue to be good friends through college. As Frances gets close to Melissa's husband, her relationship with Bobbi becomes more difficult.
Melissa
Melissa is a journalist who sees Frances and Bobbi performing together in Dublin and talks to them afterward. She then introduces them to her husband, who Frances begins an intimate relationship with.
