    Students will write about a childhood memory in the style of the novel's author.

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.9-10.3

    Structure:

    As individuals, students will write about an experience from their own childhood summer. The purpose of this exercise is for students to attempt to capture the same level of detail that Bradbury employs in Dandelion Wine, and so the scope of the assignment should be kept relatively narrow.
