Long-term Project
Objective:
Students will write a response to the major events of today's reading.

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.9-10.1
Structure:
Students will continue the journaling project begun on Day 1. Today, they will react to the story of Mrs. Bentley and the children, the departure of John Huff from Green Town, the stories told by the Time Machine, and the bus usurping transportation duties from the trolley.
Ideas for Differentiated Instruction:
- These journals may be handwritten or typed on an online journaling website like LiveJournal, or even a Google Doc.
