Discuss the tournament in Espanola. How is Saul challenged differently? What vow does he make? What does he learn?

The Moose are the first Indigenous team to ever be invited to participate in the Espanola tournament. They are greeted with boos from the crowd and Saul is quickly picked out as "the whiz kid" and taunted. The teams in the tournament are the best the Moose have ever come up against. Saul is impressed and slightly intimidated; it takes him longer than normal to feel the rhythm of the game. The other teams' strategies seem to be to target Saul, sending their "biggest and toughest" players out against him; they use their size and power to slow him down....
