Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Jane Eyre, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments.

On Day 1, students may use a document-sharing site for the "Characters' Diary Entries" activity.

Day 2's "Design Your Own School" activity can be taken in many directions, allowing students to make use of many different forms of technology, including design and presentation software and virtual modeling, in the design process as well as in the presentation process.

On Day 3, students will use a document-sharing site or a class blog for the "Building Suspense" activity.
