Frank says this to a room of men who've come to his seminar. He is saying it about women, but the depth of what he is saying has to do with both his father and mother.
"I need surgery. I need corrective oral surgery!"
Donnie says this to the Solomon brothers who want to know what he is getting surgery on. Ironically, he is getting braces for his very straight and perfect teeth. Thus, it makes no sense to the brothers why he needs money for this surgery. However, his plan relates to his love for Brad the bartender, who also wears braces.
"The most useless thing in the world is that which is behind me. Chapter three."
Frank says this to a reporter who, in an interview, is attempting to unearth the truth of his childhood in order to understand how Frank has become the man he has become. Frank wants nothing to do with his past, and he closes the door on the interview completely.
