    What are some of the parallels between the ways each narrator is introduced?

    The first section narrated by each character opens with a variation on the sentence “___ is a hunter.” The word that fills in each blank reveals something about each character’s motivations and past without revealing exactly what their respective traumas & secrets are. The shared sentence framework establishes a connection between the characters despite their different circumstances.
