How does Sure Thing explore questions of fate and free will?
Students should consider whether Bill and Betty have agency in seeking their ideal mate, or whether it is all accidents of fate / "all in the timing." While Bill and Betty seem to know what they want, the play implies that it's very much a game of chance whether or not they are able to get what they want. Is it free will for them to know what they want and act on it, even when they seen to have minimal control over whether they get it?
