1. If cosecant is positive, that means y must be positive ( since r is always positive). This happens in quadants I and II. 2. Cotangent to be positive, x and y must have the same sign either positive or negative. That happens in quadrants I and III. 3. For both cotangent and cosecant to be positive, we must be in Quadrant I
