Miss Amelia Ewans
She is the owner of the café. A very mysterious woman, and she is a very secluded character. Her first and only marriage was the point of issue that public couldn't read or understand. She always felt horribly dismal, and was not talkative, nor a public person. No one was able to explain her behavior. She putted on herself the impression of a lonely she-wolf. Independent powerful women, highly unprejudiced and mighty.
Marvin Macy
A young man who falls in love. To get married he needs to make a fortune. Loving his beloved from the bottom of his heart, he is ready for anything to marry this woman. He signed a contract, and was terribly cheated by his newly made wife. That made his life different, and he became cruel. And the only desire he had after losing everything was to teach his ten-days last wife a good lesson. From a high-minded lad he changed into a cruel “animal” with no good feelings. He did it not on purpose, but because of bad fortune.
Lymon Willis
Or better known in the story as a hunchback. This character plays the main role in the story. Manipulative individual who could ingratiate himself in any kind of situation, and was able to melt the most stony hearts. Lymon was a miserable creature that was living his own principles, not paying attention to any of the feelings of the others around him. He was ugly both from inside and outside. This is so called a rotten person who doesn't have any honor and gratitude to those closest to him, who are making his life for him, and asking nothing but love instead.
