How did Palpatine survive?
At the end of Star Wars: Episode VI - The Return of the Jedi, the last film in the original Star Wars trilogy which began with A New Hope, Emperor Palpatine is supposedly killed by Luke and is thrown down a mine shaft. Quite simply, Palpatine is able to survive due to the wonders of science. Specifically, he is able to survive because of the life-saving machinery on the planet Exegol and because of his tremendous amount of power with the Dark Side of the Force.

What is the "Final Order?"
A play on the First Order, which was the successor to the Empire, the "Final Order" is Emperor's Palpatine's armada of incredibly powerful ships (all of which are housed with countless foot soldiers) which are hell-bent on the domination of the galaxy.

What is the significance of Rey burying Luke's lightsaber?
At the end of the film, audiences see Rey burying Luke's lightsaber near his childhood home on Tatooine. This signifies a new leader of the Jedi - Rey - and effectively ends the story of Luke and the rest of the traditional Skywalkers.
