The Rise of Skywalker Imagery

The Rise of Skywalker Imagery

Tatooine Suns

The two suns of Tatooine - which bookends the nine film series - no doubt constitute an interesting and visually stunning image. It is also significant because it signals a new path for a Rey, a path which she had to chose over other options.

The Emperor

The images of the Emperor, who is now decrepit and hooked up to strange looking machinery, are striking. Despite this, he is shown to be an incredibly evil and insidious man with a tremendous amount of power with the Dark Side of the Force.

Rey's Yellow Lightsaber

Rey's Yellow Lightsaber is incredibly striking - and unique. It signifies her newfound and unique identity in the world.

Wayfinder

The wayfinder, which is a strange but powerful device, appears when characters are searching for Exegol, which is the planet that houses the Emperor. It evokes in viewers a sense of adventure and energy and signifies the power of the Force.
