  1. 1

What is the biggest irony of the VenCo Cover?

The impression readers get when they first come across the VenCo Company is that it empowers women. However, reading deeper, the reader realizes that the objective of the company is very different from what it purports to do. The company’s management says that it empowers women by placing them in powerful positions in all sectors of the economy. Paradoxically, VenCo is an entity that is controlled by powerful female witches in the country. The powerful women congregate at VenCo to carry out satanic rituals to enable them to control the economy.

  2. 2

How does the author develop the theme of feminism in the novel?

Feminism is the central theme in the novel because the author talks about woman's empowerment. Meena is a powerful witch, and she intends to look for fellow witches so that they can work from a central point to empower women. However, for women to influence politics, business, and other key sectors, the seven witches must perform their magic from a central point. Therefore, the novel discusses a woman's role in society in the fictionalized world, replicating feminism in the real world.
