Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail is a 2012 memoir published by Cheryl Strayed. Although it has not yet become a big component of high school curricula, it is a widely popular book. In addition to having made the #1 spot on the New York Times Best-Sellers list, it was adapted into a feature-length film in 2014. By 2015, it had already been translated into 30 languages and won many other awards besides.
