Objective:

Students will develop a deeper and more nuanced perspective on the concept of nationalism.

Structure:

As a class, read the article "Understanding the Constructive and Destructive Natures of Nationalism," having student volunteers read a section. At the end of the first section, ask the following question:

Is nationalism an inherent part of the existence of nations?
