Cyn Balog was one of the seventy authors who has written her story in Dear Bully, her story is called “Silvers of Purple Paper”. During seventh grade, Cyn was an outcast, and particularly shy. When her class were supposed to write positive things about each other, she only received “shy”, except one paper where it was written “She may not say much, but when she does speak, she always says something special.”

Cecil Castellucci

Cecil Castellucci, also known as Cecil Seaskull is an American born Canadian. She is a young adult novelist, indie rocker and director. She has several songs under both her names and two comics. She wrote one short story in Dear Bully, which is called “They Made Me Do It and I’m Sorry” together with her friend Lisa Bernier, and it is written as a comic book, where the silent treatment is used as a way of bullying.

R. L. Stine

R.L. Stine, also known as Jovial Bob Stine and Eric Affabee is an American novelist, television producer and Screenwriter. He was also a victim of bullying, but quickly learn a method of coping he didn’t know of before: humor. He became the “funny guy” as a defense against bullying, letting himself laugh with the people against him, instead of being laughed at.
