Objective:

In this activity, students will discuss various personal aspects of Junot Diaz's life and discuss whether one should or can separate an author's actions from their work.

This activity will require care and caution on the part of all participants given the incredibly sensitive and traumatic subject matter, namely sexual and physical abuse.
