Bringing in Technology

In the Day 1 activity, “Visualizing Figurative Language,” students will use online illustration software to deepen their understanding and appreciation of figurative language in Drown. They will do two versions of each illustration: one literal and one figurative.

In the Day 2 and 3 activities, “The History of the Dominican Republic,” students will use online research to gather information on specific aspects of Dominican history and synthesize their findings in a multimedia presentation.
