The work of Junot Diaz has, rightly so, been the subject of much debate since the 2018 allegations of harassment leveled by several of his female colleagues. This lesson plan aims to guide students through the various aspects of the debate while allowing for ample room for students to express their own feelings on the matter. Most importantly, students should be allowed to openly express dissent about the work.
