    Defining Your Childhood

    Individual Writing

    Objective:

    Students will mimic the writing style of "I for Isobel" to write an important moment of their own childhood.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.11-12.3

    Structure:

    I for Isobel begins with Isobel's childhood. Part 1 tells the story of her ninth birthday, while Part 2 explores a moment when she saw a fireball as a child. Both days and their aftermaths helped define Isobel.
