Study Objectives

If all of the elements of this lesson plan are employed, students will develop the following powers, skills, and understanding:

    Students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of important plot points, characters, themes, and symbols in I for Isobel through classroom discussions, group work, and individual writing assignments.

    Students will be demonstrate critical thinking and writing skills.

    Students will understand the use of imagery and be able to identify examples.

  4. 4

    Students will analyze T.S. Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" and demonstrate understanding of its theme, especially with regard to how it relates to I for Isobel.
