What do you think about Isobel’s state of grace? How does she keep it?
Isobel says that grace descended on her during church one day. Have students ever experienced anything like that? It is a moment of clarity where Isobel understands a way to do better and be a better person. Consequences for "sinning" are something Isobel has shown fear of, and her state of grace protects her from that.
