Isobel from a Different Perspective

Objective:
Students will write a description of the main character from the perspective of another character.

Structure:
I for Isobel is told in third person limited point of view. Readers only get Isobel's thoughts and feelings on the events of the novel. Whether she is a reliable narrator can be debated. But since it is all from her perspective, readers never get a full view of Isobel herself. In this activity, students will turn the tables and examine Isobel from the point of view of another character.
