Gender Roles

Objective:

Students will explore gender roles in the book and their lives.

Common Core Standards:

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.2

Structure:

To begin the activity, have students do a Think Pair Share. First, have students think about the question: what are the gender roles in your family/community? Then, have students share with a partner and then the class.
