What does Fergus want from the druid in "Fergus and the Druid?" What does the druid warn him about?
Fergus wants to cease to be king: he has followed the druid around for a day and watched him shapeshift seamlessly with his environment, and Fergus wants the wisdom to be able to do this as well. Fergus feels that no matter where he is, he can "still feel the crown upon [his] head." The druid warns Fergus that a life with wisdom is lonely and basic (his body is weak and he is cold). The druid seems to indicate that every station in life has its own sorrows.
