Do you find Anne's description of her life disjointed? Why or why not?
Because Anne sometimes takes long breaks between entries, her attitude toward specific people changes drastically depending on recent events. But her general attitudes stay fairly steady — over the course of the diary she seems to become more tolerant of her mother and sister, and her feelings for Peter change, but her intial response to Mrs. van Daan, Mr. Dussel, and her father stays static. Anne's disjointed writing can be confusing for the reader, because sometimes she's very annoyed and by the next entry will seem to have forgotten it.
