Role Play

Objective:

Students will use role play to analyze the dynamics among the members of the Pollitt family

Structure:

At the beginning of this act, we see all the members of the immediate Pollitt family together for the first time. Ask students for quick observations about their dynamics. How do these people interact with each other? What emotions are they showing? What emotions are they hiding? Have each student write down a question they would like to ask either one member of the family, or the family as a whole.
