Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is one of Tennessee Williams' most famous plays and was said to be his personal favorite. Set over the course of one day at a Mississippi plantation in the early twentieth century, it follows the tribulations of the Pollitt family on the sixty-fifth birthday of the family's patriarch, Big Daddy.
