Structure:

At this point in the reading, students may begin to start drawing connections between not just The Wave and the rise of Nazism, but also to recent events in American politics. It is worth discussing how similar tactics employed by Mr. Ross saw success in the 2016 presidential election, not only in terms of propaganda used, but in how leadership figures sought approval from their key demographics.
