What does this act reveal about Parolles?
We see that the Lords' assessment of Parolles was likely correct: he is dishonest, his loyalty is at best conditional, and he doesn't show much courage in the face of adversity. He betrays both the Lords (be sure that your students understand that the "First Lord" and "Second Lord" are the brothers Dumaine) and speaks ill of Bertram, for whom he has presumably worked for years. However, we also learn that pride doesn't get in the way of his need for survival. He doesn't seem to feel disgraced; instead, he is pleased that he has survived.
